The Prophet of the Last Days, Saint Arsenios Boca of Romania

Holy Father Arsenios Boca is one of the most famous spiritual fathers of Romania in recent years. His holy life made him undesirable for the communist regime which expelled him from the monastery. Although he was under constant surveillance, thousands of people were looking for him.

At some point out of curiosity, Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu became interested in a meeting with the great intellectual, according to the newspaper Jurnalul Naţional. In the early 1980's he was taken to Ceausescu, who asked him:

"Father, I heard you were predicting the future of people. What do you know about me?"

The answer, however, spoiled the mood of the communist leader: "You will both be killed in a great celebration." Of course, they did not believe him. They asked the guard to take him away and requested never to see him again, as narrated by Zoe Dean, the niece of Fr. Arsenios. At the same time, Fr. Arsenios sent a message to the Romanian people: "After Ceausescu, but not immediately, the people will suffer a lot." He advised Romanians "not to bow their heads" but "to have dignity and personality." In fulfillment of his prophetic words, Nicolae Ceausescu was sentenced to death by firing squad on December 25th, 1989, with the moment airing on Romanian television for all to see. Saint Arsenios Boca reposed in the Lord before this was all to come to pass, on November 28, 1989, having foreseen that he would repose in the Lord three weeks before Ceausescu. Prophecies of Fr. Arsenios Boca He predicted the fall of communism in Europe and that Romania would be the only country to violently overthrow its communist government, saying that "other countries will turn to capitalism peacefully, just as one changes one's shirt," while Romania "will make the transition to capitalism with bloodshed, and many will die" and that is exactly what happened. On Christmas Day (Civil Calendar) 1989, as the Romanians overthrew the communist government and executed dictator Ceausescu and his family, the army also opened fire on protesters, killing a total of 1,104 people and injuring 3,352. After that revolution, he said: "Many will leave Romania and emigrate abroad, but few will return. However, the time will come when all of them will want to return, but no one will be able to because Romania will be surrounded by flames." The prophecy continued with a warning from Fr. Arsenios:

"One day, Romania will be occupied by 3 foreign countries, Hungary, Bulgaria and Russia. The rain of fire will fall on her. Bucharest will become a second Jerusalem." Meaning that Bucharest would be destroyed like Jerusalem and no stone would be left unturned. The prophet goes on to comfort those who have panicked, saying "Our Lady on her knees will pray to God for the forgiveness of Romania."

He prayed to God for the salvation of the Americans, saying:

"My God, please do not punish the Americans, forgive them and have mercy on them, [...] they are Your creations" after which God revealed to him the spiritual condition of America. Fr. Arsenios exclaimed: "Yes my God, they are worthy of destruction!"

Shortly afterwards, he painted in Draganescu Church what appeared on the New York skyline with the World Trade Center on fire, thus prophesying the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Among many other things related to America, Fr. Arsenios also foretold the destruction of the Apollo 13 mission, the invention of cell phones, and even space shuttles.

Even after the fall of communism he spoke of what would follow:

"The red scum, the hammer and sickle, the five-pointed star will disappear, but after that the six-pointed star will come, and there will be anarchy."

Fr. Arsenios warned that the time will come when we will see and understand the extent of our fallenness:

"at work, in shops, in state institutions, in leadership and especially in politics, corruption and immorality will prevail, even inside the Church, to the priests and Church leaders. Temples will be destroyed by the communists, but new ones will be built and others will be repaired after the end of communism. But the people will have lost their faith and all these temples will be empty. There will be chaos , people's houses will be destroyed, one person will step on another, people will eat human flesh and drink human blood, but my generation and I will not be alive to see them." "I'm sorry you are weak in faith. You will fail because of fear. Fear is from the devil. Do not be afraid to save your souls. Very difficult times will come, but everything is allowed by God. He is the companion of everyone, from birth to death. The chosen ones will also fall. I'm sorry you are the last. They will sift you. They will put taxes, levies and other fences. They will get it all! People will almost lose hope. Only those who keep their true faith will be saved and then the glory of God will be great upon them…"

He advised Christians in the latter times further, imploring them to help people be saved and to lead the erring ones on the right path, saying:

"Your neighbor will drink in the bars, your cousin will leave his marriage, the son you will leave the church, your children will party every night and spit on the priests! Will you not have anyone to bring to Jesus? You can bring yourself. "

A woman said to Fr. Arsenios: "Almost all food has been poisoned nowadays," meaning the chemicals that are added to food, and Fr. Arsenios replied:

"Make the sign of the Holy Cross in everything you eat and drink: water, tea, coffee, cookies, fruit, bread and any other food. Even if they are poisoned, the sign of the Holy Cross removes any poison."

Saint Arsenios was a true prophetic witness of Jesus Christ and a messenger to guide us to through the apocalyptic age in which we live today.

Let your eyes go down for the needs you face but with your soul traveling to Heaven! Morning prayer for man is like morning dew on plants. Whoever prays to God in the morning, with care and reverence, is happy and peaceful all the rest of the day… "Be yourself first, what you want to do to the other. If you want to teach children, first teach your own in the spirit of God. To be a Christian and not just to look! Here is one of your primary tasks. The name Christian without a Christian life is a hypocrisy. It is impossible for one to dominate the passions of others if one has not overcome one's own. If you are the ruler of other people, remember that for you God is the ruler. Treat those who serve you as you would like God to be to you. It is better for your subjects to love you than to be afraid of you, because fear gives birth to hypocrisy and lies, while love gives birth to truth. It is the duty of the rulers to save and not to educate. He who submits to his ruler in the name of the Lord Jesus submits to God. It has been known for centuries that when the mighty of all ages raise their hand against the servants of God, their power does not last long. Knowing the weakness of the believers and the tendency towards evil, he often comes and returns with various terrible events in their lives to discipline and teach them repentance. Or when the wills of the old man prevail, the Holy Spirit departs from man and the education comes, which is the fruit of man's distance from God. Thus we have the cause of the flood: "Do not let my spirit dwell in these people for ever, for they are flesh" (Gen. 6: 3). Give us the best mothers (humble and faithful to God) and we will give you the best people.

There is no art superior to the art of education. Many times the chaos of society starts from its first cell, the indifferent Christian Family. Jesus Christ and God-man runs everywhere invisibly, always asking for His brothers (Matt. 28:10) until He leads them all to salvation and to the Father's House. You will do this work until the end of the world. The desire of God for the greatest sinner is superior to the desire of the love of the greatest Saint for God. Whoever wants to conquer the world, let him pray to the Father either secretly or with his mind for anyone who lives in the darkness of ignorance and sin. Patience in the pressure of evil, the forgiveness of our brothers and the secret prayer for them before God are the spiritual forces with which we turn the world for the better with its evils. By persisting in this work you can become a cause of salvation for your brothers and sisters from the world." Enemies, we must consider them as our best benefactors. How not to thank them, how not to pray for them so that the Lord may preserve them and lead them to salvation. When we pray, let our prayer be more for them than for our true benefactors. There are also invisible tears. Of course you do not have to cry for people to see you. Deep repentance is the invisible tears. You suddenly feel how sinful you are and immediately tears flow from your eyes. Blessed is he who humbles himself in all things, for he will be exalted. It is better to suffer evil than to be the cause of evil. Grief is more pleasing to him who suffers unjustly than joy to him who works unjustly. If we forgive, we will be forgiven. The Lord said and does not deny His word. As we treat our fellow human beings, so God will treat us. God gave us our judgment in our hands.

In vain are the prayers and the exercises of the man who keeps in his heart malice towards his neighbor. The prayer of one who has evil in him for the other is like the seed that fell on the stone. Where there is no peace, there is no God! Defeat evil with good! Be a sheep and with the power of Christ you will defeat the wolves!
